TELEMAKUS
Telemakus is a 25-year-old Indian-American artist, producer, composer, and self-taught pianist from the Bay Area, now based in Los Angeles. Born to Indian and Mauritian parents and raised in a creative household, he began producing music at age 12 and expanded his skills to learning jazz piano at 17, shaping a sound that merges modern jazz, hip-hop, and experimental textures.
Over the years, Telemakus has earned recognition from artists like Flying Lotus, Butcher Brown, CARRTOONS, and Kiefer, and studied under Grammy-winning pianist Taylor Eigsti. He has collaborated with a wide range of musicians including ROHO, Julius Rodriguez, Corey Fonville, Nicole McCabe, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.
Beyond music, Telemakus’s journey has been marked by resilience. Diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, he faced a long road to recovery—at one point learning to write and compose music with his feet. These deeply personal moments now shape his artistic output, with songs born from that period featured on his upcoming 2025 album, Eight Ring Revival.
From early beat tapes to genre-defying albums, Telemakus continues to evolve, pushing boundaries and honoring influences like Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, J Dilla, and Robert Glasper. As both a solo artist and collaborator, he stands as a singular voice in today’s music landscape: introspective, innovative, and endlessly curious.
